EUROPE - Air France To Launch Rival Eurostar Service
Faster and more frequent services from the U.K. to France, The Netherlands and Germany could very soon be a reality as the airline plans to launch its London to Paris, Paris to Amsterdam service by October 2010 according to reports. It is also believed that Virgin is also exploring the possibility of setting up its own continental high-speed rail service, while DeutscheBahn has made public its intention to establish a London Cologne service, opening up a European wide high speed rail travel network.
