EGYPT - £67million Cairo city planned
Named after the current UAE president, who supplied $100,000,000 of the development's funding, Sheik Khalifa bin Zayed City will be built in New Cairo on land granted by the Egyptian government. The development is planned to include 16,000 residential units, affordable housing, health, education, sports and leisure facilities.
The city will be the latest in a series of residential projects undertaken in Egypt and will be part of the UAE's aim to create greater stability and development in Egypt.
